Online Bill Payment
Payments may be made online using Visa, American Express, Discover, and Mastercard. Debit cards may be used as long as they are set up to act as a credit card and do not require entry of a PIN number.
Online payments can be made for the categories below. For all other payments via credit card please call the Finance Department at (302) 539-8011 so we may verify the amount due and that we have all necessary information before taking your card information over the phone.
Semi-annual water bills for the six months ending March 31 and September 30 are sent shortly after these dates and due within six weeks. Penalties will be assessed if payment is not received by the due date printed on the bill.
Annual Bill for Property Taxes, Trash, Sinking Fund, Recycling and Ambulance Fees
Annual bills are mailed each May and are due in June.
Rental Real Estate Taxes
Tax payments made for rental of property from May 1 through September 30 are due by November 1. Tax payments made for rental of property from October 1 through April 30 are due by June 1.
Business License Renewal Fee
Business licenses are granted for the period of June 1 through May 31. The cost is $250.00 per year and up to three years can be purchased at a time. Only license renewals can be processed online. First-time applicants must print, complete, sign and mail the In Town Business License or the Out of Town Business License with your payment. If the nature of your business has changed you must fill out and mail a new application form.

Parking Ticket Fines
Pay a Ticket: To pay online, you will need the parking ticket number, license plate number, and state to pay the ticket online. Partial payments are not allowed online.
Fines Double if not paid within 14 days from date of issuance.
Appeal a Ticket: To appeal a ticket in person, call the number on the summons and envelope (302-539-1000) to schedule a court appearance within 10 days of the citation issue date. Alderman’s Court #31 is located in the Town Hall.
If it is the first time that you received a citation for Expired Time but have a paid parking receipt or paid ParkMobile session covering the time of the ticket, please send an email (including ticket number) and support within 10 days of the citation issue date to: email@example.com.
All other ticket appeals are made via email within 10 days of the citation issue date. You can go to the Town of Bethany Beach website under E-Services/Online Bill Payment/Parking Ticket Fines or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Support should be provided with the appeal along with the ticket number. The appeal may be subject to an appeal fee by the Court.
